All things being equal, this should link to my 'Redbubble' shop... when I've got everything set up.

Luthierie

This is the amazing Georgia Lewis, accompanied by Jon Loomes on a guitar of his own making, performing 'The Brown Girl', in an arrangement put together very quickly on an artist's retreat at Halsway Manor National Centre For Folk Arts.

Studying first with The Cambridge Guild of Violin Makers and latterly with the incredible Manchester guitar maker Colin Kendall,  Loomes creates fretted stringed instruments, built to order, and occasionally available at festivals, depending on stock.

Responsible for the design specifications of the Dino Bafetti 'Binci III', 'Super II', 'Super III', and 'Super Ottone' models, Loomes also designed the Black Diamond professional range of melodeons, the 'Italia' series. He also invented the 'Loomes Chromatic'. He's currently building an eight string guitar to extend tuning possibilities.
